The Hotel would be nice because of the prohibition on violence, but it's too public in the lobby these days, and going to Gene and Tony's shared room would just be awful on so many levels. So they're at a cafe in the Water Sector. Specifically, Tony and Howard are there. Gene hasn't arrived yet. Just as planned; they need to introduce this gradually, starting with the first meeting on neutral ground.
Depending on how this one goes, the reveal of Gene and Tony's relationship may happen sooner or much, much later.

- In May 2014, Gene volunteered to be injected with Gha'nal venom by Milyn, allowing him increased control over the Dreaming plane.
- During the Summer Jubilee event in 2014,
AstiMalicant wearing Asti like a freakin' coat gave Gene the boon of not being able to have the rings taken from him; that is, they'll reappear on his fingers if anyone tries.- Nullified after Malicant's defeat in December 2014.

- In July of 2014, he got a canon update from the middle of "Dragonseed" to the middle of "The Makluan Invasion, Part 2".
- As of this thread in October 2014, he is now in a relationship of sorts with Tony Stark (oops?).
- In February of 2015 (2016 in game time), he got a canon update to the end of the show.
